MANCHESTER — An Upper Freehold man is facing charges of drug possession and driving while intoxicated following a police stop off Route 37 in the township, police said.
Matthew Miller Jr., 19, was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of paraphernalia and criminal trespass, said Capt. Lisa Parker of the Manchester Township Police. Miller was released on summonses.
Police observed a car at the end of Bone Hill Road entering the Heritage Minerals property, when a stop was made, Parker said.
During the investigation, police found 23 grams of separately packaged marijuana, scales and packaging material, Parker said. Miller?s car and $796 were seized by police.
The case is pending court action.
