BRICK — Police are looking for a person who tried to take a woman?s purse in the parking lot of the Target on Route 70.

The woman was approaching the passenger side of her friend?s vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when an unknown subject attacked her by pulling her down from behind, Brick Police Sgt. Henry J. The subject eventually fled toward a wooded area between Target and PC Richard & Sons, Drew said. Police couldn?t locate the person in a search.

The subject was described as male, of medium build, about 5-foot, 10-inches tall, and wearing a dark ski mask, long-sleeved black T-shirt, jeans, and white sneakers with a Nike logo.
