So smooth that I don’t even *need* milk. 

((yes, yes, this recipe is still excellent but ain’t nobody got time for cheesecloth))

I have been wanting to make my own iced coffee for a good long while. In fact, I have spent most of this summer trying to weigh all the options on how to do it and if I was going to do it. 

(Somehow two summers ago, I was able to do so but anyway).

However, I have reached the point where I realize that sometimes there are projects I get myself into that end up costing more time and money for the sake of completing it, not for the fun of it.

I’m about to start the busiest part of my year at work. My own time is precious and I’ve decided that I want to maximize my time and squeeze ever ounce of it so that it is enjoyable.

All of this to say that I’m buying this. It will make my iced coffee and my life easier and it will give me some time back.

To hell with all of those “Why would you spend money on that when you can do it yourself?” haters. Because it’s worth it, that’s why.

Macintosh product users' group meeting

The Kankakee Macintosh Users’ Group KAMUG Mac/iPad/iPod/iPhone will meet starting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Judy’s Place, 220 Curwick Drive, Bourbonnais. This event is free, open to the public and guests are welcome.

• Panel discussion: how to diagnose an OS problem, and how to reinstall your OS.
