Police Blotter: Sept. 25, 2013

Battery

• Kenneth G. Traina, 47, of Bourbonnais, was arrested by Bourbonnais police in the 1500 block of Stefanie Lane at 8:40 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct and battery. Police were called to Stefanie Lane for a vehicle sounding its horn. Traina told police he had installed a new horn and was testing it. Police left only to be called back to Stefanie Lane minutes later for a fight. No arrests were made because Traina was provoked. When more fighting broke out as police attempted to leave the scene Traina was arrested. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.
• Willie L Ellis, 48, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 1700 block of West Hickory Street at 11:54 p.m. Monday for domestic battery. Ellis was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Burglary

A 50-inch television and Wii video game system were reported stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Gregg Street at 7:52 p.

Police Blotter: Sept. 26, 2013

Battery

A woman reported being battered by two teenagers to Kankakee police at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday. The victim said she was walking in the 300 block of South Nelson Avenue when the 16-year-old and 17-year-old girls approached her and began punching her in the head. No arrests have been reported.

Burglary

A laptop was reported stolen to Kankakee police from a residence int he 1000 block of East Bourbonnais Street at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday. The victim said she arrived home to find a black, male juvenile in her home. He then fled. No arrest has been reported.

Battery

• Rodney K. Allen, 21, of Bourbonnais, was arrested by Bourbonnais police in the 900 block of Gettysburg Drive at 11:19 p.m. Aug. 28 for domestic battery. Allen was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

• Byran C. Lorek, 39, of Bourbonnais, was arrested by Bourbonnais police at 2:58 p.m. Aug. 29 for domestic battery. Lorek was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

DUI

• Angela L. Raef, 37, of Watseka, was arrested by Watseka police near the intersection of Second Street and Walnut Street at 2:15 a.m. Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol. Raef was also charged with illegally squealing tires, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to Iroquois County Jail.

• Allen K. Rodgers, 65, of Bourbonnais, was arrested by Bourbonnais police near the intersection of Greenbriar Lane and Meadows Road at 2:04 a.

Battery

• Kristina Bolsoni, 19, of Peotone, was arrested by Peotone police at 11:38 p.m. Aug. 18 for domestic battery. Bolsoni was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

• John Sullivan Kite, 37, of Plainfield, was arrested by Bradley police at the Fairfield Inn, 1550 N. Illinois Route 50, at 12:51 p.m Wednesday for aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting arrest and obstructing justice. Kite was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

• Larry C. Johnson, 38, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 900 block of East Bourbonnais Street at 12:26 a.m. Friday for domestic battery. Johnson was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

• Kendell Deal, 35, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 1200 block of East Court Street at 12:38 a.m. Friday for domestic battery. Deal was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Firearms

A shed on 10500N Road near 16000E Road in Grant Park was reported shot to Kankakee County sheriff's police on Wednesday. Several bullet holes were found in the shed. No arrests have been reported.

Kankakee police were called to the Economy Inn on U.S. Route 45/52 for an injured man at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday. The man said a person he did not know punched him in the head. No arrests have been reported.

Burglary
• A 50-inch television and Blu-ray DVD player were reported stolen to Kankakee police from a residence in the 600 block of South Moore Avenue at 7:30 a.m. Monday. No suspect information has been reported.
• A 32-inch television was reported stolen to Kankakee police from a residence in the 500 block of North Fifth Avenue at 11:38 a.m. Monday. No suspect information has been reported.
• An air compressor was reported stolen to Kankakee police from a garage located in the 800 block of Cleveland Avenue at 5:58 p.m. Monday. No suspect information has been reported.

Criminal damage to property

Devin R. Carter, 29, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 900 block of East Chestnut Street at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday for criminal damage to property. Carter threw his bike at the windshield of a car. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Disorderly conduct

Terrance Brown, 57, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 700 block of Evergreen Avenue at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday. Brown threw a glass fixture at a pregnant woman. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

DUI

• Douglas A. Squibb, 49, of Salem, was arrested by Kankakee police at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday for driving under the influence. Squibb was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

• John M. Rusnak, 62, of Watseka, was arrested by Watseka police on North Fourth Street near Ash Street at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday for driving under the influence of alcohol and aggravated assault.

Battery

Kimberly R.Causley, 19, of Watseka, was arrested by Watseka police in the 200 block of North Fourth Street at 1:14 a.m. Sunday for domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Michael R. Cartelli, 25, of Watseka, was also arrested for domestic battery and for giving alcohol to a minor. Both were taken to Iroquois County Jail.

Burglary

A television and video game system were reported stolen to Kankakee police from a garage in the 300 block of South Elm Avenue at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. No suspect information has been reported.

Mob action

Two men reported to Kankakee police that they were attacked by a group of five people in the 200 block of South Chicago Avenue at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday. One of the men was taken to Riverside Medical Center for his injuries. No suspect information has been reported.

Violation of order of protection

Carmen Thomas, 40, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 300 block of South Schuyler Avenue at 7:17 p.

Battery
• Michelle N. Ditschler, 30, of Frankfort, was arrested by Kankakee County sheriff's police at 8:02 p.m. Thursday for aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting or obstructing arrest. Ditschler would not give her name to police, tried to walk away from an officer and then began to kick him after she was handcuffed. She was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.
• Leandrea D. Linebarger, 20, of Pembroke Township, was arrested by Kankakee County sheriff's police at 8:51 p.m. Friday for domestic battery. Linebarger was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.
• Lawrence A. Faron, 46, of Bourbonnais, was arrested by Kankakee County sheriff's police at 10:24 a.m. Friday for battery. Faron punched a man in the eye. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Burglary
Eight tents were reported stolen to Kankakee County sheriff's police from a Boy Scout trailer parked on North Vincennes Trail in Momence at 10 a.

Battery
• Neil J. Bonds, 31, of Sheldon, was arrested by Sheldon police on Sunday for domestic battery. He was taken to Iroquois County Jail.
• Angelica Fields, 21, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police at 7:01 p.m. Friday for domestic battery. Fields was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Burglary
• Copper pipes were reported stolen to Kankakee police from a residence in the 300 block of South Albert Boulevard at 5:39 p.m. Saturday. The resident said she left the home for three hours, and when she returned heard water running. Pipes were cut in the basement and from the water meter, and water was flowing into the residence. No suspect information has been reported.
• A speaker box and two subwoofers were reported stolen to Kankakee police from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Elm Avenue at 7:22 a.m. Sunday. The back windshield of the vehicle was broken out.

Battery
• Shannon Lynn Billadeau, 41, of Bradley, was arrested by Bradley police in the 800 block of East Broadway Street at 5:14 a.m. Monday for domestic battery. Billadeau was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.
• Richard A. Brammer, 41, of Sheldon, was arrested by Iroquois County sheriff's police on Saturday for battery after hitting a person in the face. Brammer was taken  to Iroquois County Jail.

Burglary
A purse containing money, credit cards and rings was reported stolen to Kankakee police from a truck parked in the 800 block of North Ninth Avenue at 3:58 p.m. Friday. The passenger window of the vehicle was broken out. No suspect information has been reported.

Drugs
Mario Aguilera, 21, of Bradley, was arrested by Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group agents at 6:31 p.m. Sunday for unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. A search of Aguilera'a residence in the 300 block of South Dearborn Avenue turned up 2.

Criminal damage to property
Anthony L. Andre Jr., 26, of Champaign was arrested by Bourbonnais police at 2:02 a.m. Sunday for criminal damage to property and resisting or obstructing police. Andre threw a bottle at Shear Image Hair Salon, 107 Bernard St., Bourbonnais, and then ran from police. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Drugs
Geoffrey F. Ewan, 34, of Chicago Heights, was arrested by Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group agents for delivery of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a church. Ewan was arrested in the 400 block of North Locust Street, Manteno, after delivering 28 grams of cocaine. He was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Firearms
Coty J. Cramer, 18, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group agents at 7:16 p.m. on Aug. 8 for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a gang member, and for not having a valid Firearm Owner Identification card.

• Robin L. Krzyzak, 35, of Momence, was arrested by Kankakee County sheriff's police in the 12000 block of East Gregg Boulevard at 10:36 p.m. Wednesday for domestic battery. Krzyzak hit a family member in the head with a beer bottle. Krzyzak was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.
• Darryl P. James, 44, of Kankakee, was arrested by Kankakee police in the 600 block of North Hammes Avenue at 1:31 a.m. Friday for domestic battery. James was taken to Jerome Combs Detention Center.

Burglary
• Ham and chicken were reported stolen to Kankakee County sheriff's police from a garage freezer in the 200 block of North Sunset Drive in St. Anne at 5 p.m. Thursday. No suspect information has been reported.
• A radio was reported stolen to Kankakee police from a vehicle parked int he 400 block of County Club Drive at 2:06 p.m. Thursday. The passenger side window of the vehicle was broken out.
