BARNEGAT — Four people were charged with heroin offenses after a search of a township residence on Monday by the Ocean County Prosecutor?s Special Operations Group, Southern Enforcement Unit.
Detectives searched 345 Hawthorne Lane, Apt. 2104, and found three people in possession of a quantity of heroin, according to a release by Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato.
Police seized approximately 125 individual dosage units of heroin along with approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine, police said.
The heroin had a street value of $600 and the cocaine had a street value of $900, according to Capt. Jack Sramaty, commander of the Ocean County Prosecutor?s Office Special Operations Group, Narcotics Unit/Gang Unit/Intelligence Unit.
Police charged Larry J. Daniels, 26, of 345 Hawthorne Lane, Apt. 2104, with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin.
Daniels bail was set at $100,000 with no 10 percent option by Superior Court Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. Daniels remained in the Ocean County jail in Toms River.
Laura Mooney, 32, of 63 Burr St. in Barnegat was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin. Mooney was released on a summons.
Jonathan P. Locilento, 41, of 808 Hazelton Ave. in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township and Steven G. Byk, 40, of 661 Abbinton Drive in East Windsor were charged with possession of heroin. Both were released on summonses.
